Baththalangunduwa is a small sandy island situated in dutch bay near Kalpitiya. To reach Baththalangunduwa   you have to take a boat from Kalpitiya dock and it's a three hours boat ride. In Baththalangunduwa you will find very large and lonely beaches and really interesting people.

If you visit Kalpitiya, remember to visit here. After some time now it's a functioning church and now it's renovated. It has six stone carvings which look like tombstones and they believe church has a tunnel which leads to fort.
